Our cat is allowed outdoors and sometimes spends hours away from the house. We'd like to know where she goes. Someone told us that there are tracking devices for dogs. Has anyone heard of similar ones for cats?

Someone has already fitted their cat Mr. Lee with a web-cam collar, so that they could see where he goes and what he gets up to. The link for the web site also has advice on how to do this yourself.

Keep her indoors - you won't need one. And if you did buy a GPS for her collar you can assure it will end up taken off on her because they're not cheap.

i'm not sure about collars, but my vet implanted a (very very very small) chip in my cat's neck. I think it's like an RFID card.
