ok my friend and his girlfriend broke up like months ago and now she doesn't leave him alone calls him up like 3-4 a day, finds ways to give him around a dozen letters a week, emails him like 10 times a day, actually comes to his house and leaves mail for him and leaves comments and messages for him on myspace like constantly. So you get the idea that this girl is going over board with this break up, and I guess what I am asking is if someone could give me some advice on what to tell him, to help him put an end to this. I told him to just tell her to stop but he doesn't want to talk to her, So then I told him to block her and delete her from his myspace, block her emails, block her calls. If there anything else please let me know.

She sounds really unstable mentally. I reckon that the best thing your friend could do would be to ignore her and wait for her to gradually cease her stupid actions. She will probably desist given time. If not, get your friend to speak to her parents, tell them that their psycho daughter's going overboard. Last resort: Police.

It can be very hard to be rejected, particularly if the relationship was long term. The best thing is for him to just tell her that they can be friends as long as she will quit stalking him.

More than likely she is just feeling rejected, and needs reassurance that he still has feelings for her. Sometimes just knowing that you are not easily replaced can be enough to deter this type of situation. If she did something wrong to cause the break up, it is even more important that he at least let her know that he will forgive her, but that he feels it is better if they are friends only.

Well he definately has to do something here.Apart from the advise that you have given him,the only other alternative is to confront her.Face to face. This is harrassment and he does not have to put up with this.if it continues then all he can do is seek legal advise.Hopefully it will not reach that stage, but what else can he do?

He needs to tell her to stop or he will call the cops on her. He then needs to get everything she has been sending or leaving him together and be prepared to call the cops on her and press charges.
