This works for me every time. Buy some deli meats like turkey, roast beast, ham... Buy some veggies like lettuce, tomato, onion. Buy some sliced cheese. Arrange everything on platters or plates. Let your guest make sandwiches using dollar rolls or in other words, those cheap little bakery rolls that come in a large bag. Little hand sandwiches. You will need some mayo mustard etc. Its a great way to keep people from getting too tipsy and its classier than chips and dips.

Take 1 block of cream cheese on a plate, cover with 1 tin tiny canned shrimp. Cover that with cocktail sauce, lemon juice, and dill. Serve with Ritz crackers. Always a favorite.
Antipasto meat salad:
Take 1 round hard salami, cut into cubes; 1 package pepperoni slices, cut in half, some mozzerella cheese cubes, and 1/2 can kalamata olives. Season with a splash of olive oil, lemon juice, and fennel seeds. Serve with toothpicks.
Vegie antipasto salad (low fat):
Half 1 package cherry tomatoes and put in a bowl. Add 1 can quartered artichoke hearts (in water), 1/2 can kalamata olives, 1 package sliced mushrooms, 1/2 thinly sliced shallot, and some snipped parsely. Dress with garlic salt and basalmic vinegar. Serve chilled.

A nut mix in a bowl.
Some cut-up square cheese pieces.
Mix a yogurt that is plain with no sweetener in it, with a cap of white vinegar, a cap of olive oil or vegetable oil and about three sprinkles of Italian Seasoning spices. Mix well until blended. Add Salt and pepper. You have a low calorie dressing to be served with baby carrots, raw cauliflower, raw broccoli, raw peppers.

get cheddar con queso, in a jar near the salsa, jar of jalopenos and some nacho chips. spread chips on plate (warm up cheese sauce) drizzle over the nacho chips and either put the jalopenos on top of the chips or on the side. Just ask your guests. That is always quick.
tortilla seafood pizza::::::::---tortilla, shredded cheese, lobster or crab meat or sea stix (THEY may be immitaiton crab but they are still made out of whitefish) fresh basil, one fresh tomatoe, garlic butter, green onions.
Put tortilla on pizza stone or whatever, rub top side with garlic butter and lightly sprinkle some cheddar cheese on top (very sparilngly then toast the tortilla in oven for about 5 minute
pull out and top with cut up basil, chopped up tomatoes , your seafood selection & shredded cheddar. Put in oven for approximatley 10-12 min. When you pull it out top with choppped green onions. (sometimes you can pot out a dish of whipped sour cream to dip it in. cut it like a pizza.
That is good and similar to Red Lobsters Lobster Pizza.
Have a good party !!!
