I live with my boyfriend.
It's just...I used to be close with my Grandma, but I can't listen to her anymore if she is going to be Racist about everything. [*I love this boy to death!*]

Your grandmother is reacting out of fear...fear for you and how others will respond to this relationship. Remember, she grew up during a time where mixed relationships were virtually forbidden.
Have you tried having a heart-to-heart talk with her...without arguing? Telling her how much her attitude hurts? Angry reations will not help ease the tension. Only honest and loving communication will have any effect.

Sit down with her when she is undistracted and tell her she is being hurtful. Then ask her if she likes having you in her life. Then ask her if she would like to be in your future childrens' lives. If she says yes, then tell her you are not ready for a serious commitment yet, but if that should occur later with your current boyfriend then she will not be allowed in their lives because she is being hurtful and you will not allow others to hurt your children. If she says no, then it is okay to love her from a distance and talk to her rarely. If she brings it up again, then tell her you must leave/hang up to take care of something. Good luck!

Tell your gran to mind her own business, if you are 18, then you are an adult and will see whoever you like.
Maybe telling Gran to stick it is a bit rude, have you told her how you feel, that you don't like her doing this and it is upsetting you. Tell her that you really like him and know him alot better than you do and he treats you really well.
She may be understanding of your point of view.

Stop talking to your grandma. Call her a racist and that she should learn that there is nothing wrong with people of different colors dating.

You have to do what feels right in your heart and then she'll come around she should be proud that at least your standing for what you feel is right. Your an adult and if she really loves you then she needs to also respect you.

she comes from a different time when things like that weren't acceptable. You still have to love her and repect her opinion, but let her know how you feel, maybe she will give you some slack

grammas are great for living in the past. they dont see that times have changed. if you really love your boyfriend, just let it be. you dont have to ignore her, but explain that you love him and thats that...anything she says after should roll off your back and be ignored.

Think of it this way. You want her to accept your choices. How about you accept hers as well?
If she chooses to HATE it, let her. It's fine. Why does it bother you so much?
