It will be proper to eat small portion and take multiple meals. Chewing the food properly is also very important and it will allow your stomach to process it properly. However the reason of being fat is more related to the type of food you take. Processed food, fastfood and red meat has a lot of carbohdrate and fats. Therefore if you really want to control you weight, you must consume more vegetable and fruits with negative calories like apple, pear, and high fibre , and reduce carbohidrate and fat intake.
However the problem leaved will be the existing fats in your body. When we exercise without eating, our body burns water, then protein, follow by fats. Therefore if after exercise you start to eat, you will put on weight even faster.
The key will be to build more muscle as more muscle you have, you body are able to burn calories and the existing fats in the body need to be burned off using supplements ( beware no drugs)
If you are interested to find out more what sort of supplements are good for burning fats, do email me at jimcky80@hotmail.com. ( Weight management consultant)

Yes it does. It takes about 20 minutes after you eat for your brain to actually tell the stomach that it has had enough. If you eat too fast you will end up overeating and stretching out your stomach.

By eating too fast it doesn't allow time for your stomach to tell your brain that it is full. That allows you to consume more food and that means excess calories. So, in short, yes you can gain weight by eating your meals too fast.

that's what i've heard.
& i think its true,
not trying to be on your friends side or anything, it's just that the food can't digest very well & it takes 15 mins for your stomach to tell your brain that you are full, or vice versa.
so it's better to eat slow rather than fast :]
hope this helped.

Well I know it takes 20 minutes to digest your food, so if your eating really fast and not taking your time, you might not even be hungry but your just carelessly stuffing in your mouth. Take your time, and you will definetley seem results.

When you eat too fast, your brain cant judge when you are full.
That's why eating fast tend to cause overeat.
Try eating slow and chewing more, you'll get full with smaller portion.
