heaven is not exclusive for a single religion or denomination, as long as you lived a good life in general, wether you're catholic, moslem, jew, buddhist, agnostic, athiest..., the gates of heaven will be open for you.

Yes, we all have the chance for heaven. Was your father originally Catholic?

Catholics cannot answer that question except that all saved people will be reunited.

This is my opinion. Do you love one another. Do you want to be reunited with them after you pass. What do you believe?

If you love one another, do you think God will keep you apart?
If you want to be reunited with them, do you think that God would separate you because your Dad does not belong to a particular religions?
I believe that what ever happens to you, after you pass, is how you have lived your life on this earth. I believe that what you BELIEVE will happen, in the afterlife, WILL HAPPEN because you believe it. Look out for what you believe.
Do as Jesus did, love, be compassionate, forgive, do not judge, love thy neighbor, etc. etc. Be the best you can be and the best will happen to you.
My opinion, my beliefs.

When we die we will have ample time to except the truth. I have a feeling that almost all family's will be reunited before Jesus work is done.

my friend is catholic, and believes all "good" ppl go to heaven regardless of faith.

Of course she is liberal and intelligent and struggles to reconcile her interesting faith and her true nature...

If you Catholic, then you wont see heaven. Only belief the Jesus can get you to heave, not eating cookies and praying to Mary.

You haven't stated what you are. That is an important point.
