I've been using Clinique's ACNE SOLUTIONS system for about 3.5 months now, and it was recommended to me by a friend of mine to start taking vitamin A to further improve my skin... how will adding this to my daily intake improve my skin/body? They're actually 10,000 IU, but she told me to take two... so yeah. Any info will be MUCH appreciated! (~8

Taking so much of one vitamin will not balance your system. I would suggest an appropriate supplement from www.anitoxidants.mypharmanex.com Depending on your age and gender you may find that these pure and natural and multivitamins give your system and your skin a healthy boost and give your body as a unit nutrients it may be lacking - taken regularly you will most likely find natural improvements in your skin and your general feeling of well being as they are synergistically formulated so every capsules ingredients are identical and easily absorbed into your system. I would also suggest the epoch Glacial Marine Mud a couple of times a week. Often what you put in equals what you get out. To a healthier you.

The RDA for vitamin A is 5,000.
What is considered the level of toxicity (the amount where 50% of people will exhibit symtoms of overdose) of Vitamin A is 10,000

Tell your friend she is practicing medicine without a license ;)

Seriously, the symptoms of vitamin A poisoning is the same as vitamin A deficiency.....(vitamin A is kind weird like that)

Take a good multivitamin if your diet is poor....but I would leave single vitamins alone. Will it improve your skin? if you are deficient....but....its not very common at at here in the first world. If you lived in Africa (where it is very common), I would say maybe....but....I would prefer you try different acne treatments rather than see you take nearly anywhere near that much vitamin A

20,000 IU will probably dry out your skin. I was taking a multi-vitamin with 17,000 IU and I asked my doctor about it and he said it's ok to take that much, but my skin would probably get dry....and it did. Stick with the 10,000 IU. It would be good to add 3,000 - 6,000 mg of Vitamin C and 400-800 IU of Vitamin E daily. Vitamins A, C, and E work together to give you nice skin.

Depends on what your skin condition/issue is. Listen I don't want to sound like a know it all (kia) but water is the key ingredient to all human woes. If you even have a headache water can and will send it on its way. Consider this... why is there so much water on "our" planet? Use it!!
