We had become really good friends and I let him stay with me until he got back on his feet. I wanted to be more than friends but he did not. I decided to respect that, and I am glad I did because I noticed that he has very selfish ways about him. He is disrepectful by talking to other women around me and overall just does not have my best interest in mind. He recently told me that he doesnt want to be loved by me and that if he and I were on a train track and a train was coming he would jump off first without thinking about me. But for some reason this guy says that he cares about me. I think he is talking out of both sides of his mouth becasue you do not say something like that about a person you care about. I told him that he has to leave but I do not want there to be tons of tension between us while the transition of him leaving is happening. How do I slowly rid myself of somebody but still remain civil during the breakup? I do not want any more drama.

Kick him out, afterwards there wont be any drama, unless you still want him.

I am not sure this guy cares about you at all. He certainly appreciates the extremely generous gesture of being there while he was getting back on his feet.

With that being said, the best way to end this without any drama is to give him a deadline.....say 3 days or so. You shouldn't worry where he ends up only just that he ends up somewhere other than your place.

And don't take him back. A good girl with a Texas sized heart like you deserves the best and this guy failed the test.

YOU CAN'T DO IT SLOWLY. JUST GET RID OF HIM.
I WENT THROUGH THIS WITH A GIRLFREIND ONCE.
HAD TO SEND HER AWAY. NEVER HEARD FROM HER SINCE.
