definite, certainly one of my subject concerns with all of it - the Bible is obviously various of non secular texts from hugely diverse authors and traditions and it is extremely of course shown in the differing powers and administration he has and the adjustments in his attitude from, practically, web site to web site. Is he on top of issues? Does he desire our prayers? Why do we could pray if he cares for us and knows all approximately each thing we do and experience and think of? Why? the sorrowful area is that the confusion approximately God and his motives or perhaps his powers is a reason lots of human beings lose their faith. So the insistence on conserving the Bible as a "artwork created below divine effect" might convenience the illiterate, besides the undeniable fact that it drives the considerate away. It makes a sturdy arguement for preserving religious texts from the palms of the loads, nevertheless does not it? a faith with a greater finished creative and prescient of who the divine is and what they desire and what they are in a place to and can't and could and willnot do could be hugely greater effectual. yet assorted our religious texts are collections the place the creative and prescient or perhaps ideals of each author is diverse, so God is diverse in each area. we seem for a finished creative and prescient and we are given fragments from diverse pictures fullyyt. we are left with a container of mis-matched puzzle products. he's not even precisely in the recommendations of his adherents.

God is omnipotent. He is all powerful and full of love

He showed that love when Jesus died on the cross.

Jesus said there is no greater love that a man could give then he lay down his life and die for another.

He gave his greatest love

What more can we ask for?

God is Omnipotent, omniscient, and eternal.
He reveals Himself individually to people.
He gives them the choice to accept Him or reject Him; one person at a time.
There are many who know He IS the One True God.

His revelation is available to all who want to believe.

So if you were God, you'd rule the world as a dictator. No wonder no atheist can imagine the infinite love of God.

there have been times in the past that God has revealed himself more "visibly" to people. one example of this is at the time of the exodus from egypt, when God revealed his care for the israelites by sending the miraculous plagues upon the egyptians until they were willing to release the israelites from their slavery

yet, in spite of these repeated demonstrations of his love, guidance, and power, they still refused to trust him when he wanted them to enter into the promised land. they chose instead to trust the word of ten men who frightened them with their stories of the walled cities and the giant stature of some of the people of the land, and to ignore the counsel of two Godly men who encouraged them to trust God who had always been faithful. these events, found in the books of exodus and numbers, show that God's further revealing himself to us would have no greater effect on our ability to trust him.

God is all powerful. He wants faith from us. He could have proved Who He Is if He wanted to do that. He wants us to worship Him through our faith in His Word. He forces nothing on us as far as He is concerned in this life.

I don't think he means or intends it to be self evident. He intends us to discover within ourselves whether or not we can spiritually discern truth and error and to what degree. All are not alike and the test is to find out for ourselves what we truly are.
