Stay loyal. We have enough of our AMERICAN BORN BUSINESSES going else where. Not all of us were born with silver spoons in our mouths, and thanks to some not so loyal businesses some of us are doing damn good if we even have a spoon. I know the old saying about having an opinion, but if you don't want to read mine scroll or click on! America is filled with all kinds of people that want to work, willing to learn new jobs, ready and willing to accept change and most of all WE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE LOYAL TO OUR COUNTRY AND I BELIEVE IT'S TIME OUR COUNTRY BE LOYAL TO US! OUR FAMILIES! AND EVERY SINGLE HUMAN THAT HAS CAME TO OUR COUNTRY TO TAKE CARE OF THEIR FAMILIES AND TO LIVE THE AMERICAN DREAM! So keep it loyal to America, and while we are at it lets try to bring our jobs back home to us, The people who started those jobs so we can feed, clothe and provide shelter for our families. Our forefathers started those businesses, figured out ways to make those jobs more productive, built machinery to assist man, worked out all the kinks and made these jobs safe for their families that would carry on. But if you look around most of the jobs our Parents and Grandparents helped make them what they are, WELL THERE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! SO LETS TRY TO KEEP WHAT WE HAVE FROM HERE ON. OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS DEPEND ON IT. WITHOUT LOYALTY, WHAT DO YOU HAVE?? NOT EVEN A DREAM. SORRY BUT THATS MY OPINION AND I'M STICKIN TO IT!!!!! YOUR FRIEND LISA

What is considered a US manufactured automobile? I had a Ford that was build in Mexico and a Nissan that was built in the US. Who is helping who?

What I would rather see are rear wheel drive platforms or bodystyles being used. I just don't like seeing a fake Fusion going around the track, we all know it is a front wheel drive car. I think Mustangs racing Chargers, racing a GTO or whatever would be cooler and make more sense. I know the manufacturers like to show vehicles that they sell a lot of to a broad spectrum of people but I want to see more "sports" cars.

When the U.S. manufacturers stay loyal to this country, then maybe I'll agree that NASCAR should remain loyal to the manufacturers.

Ford and Chevy both have entire vehicles and parts that are built outside of this country. Toyota has vehicles that are built in this country. The American working man/woman is benefiting from Toyotas being built in this country, as they've created a lot of jobs. I don't really care about the fat cat big wig owners of the companies, as they all make ridiculous amounts of money. Toyota is creating jobs in this country, while Ford and Chevy are outsourcing them to save money. Does that mean that I don't like Ford or Chevy? No, not at all. But it's hypocritical to think that NASCAR should remain loyal to U.S. manufacturers who don't build their vehicles in this country.

People may not like it, but it's reality.

NASCAR has weeded out so many U.S. made cars(Buick.Oldsmobile,Mercury to name a few) that they have no choice but to invite manufacturers that have a foreign label(Toyota) that are primarily made in the U.S.
Personally I'd rather see the Detroit Iron race on Sundays.

It should be open to any manufacturer. Toyota wasn't the first non US manufacture, People didn't seem to notice or care when Dodge came back, under the control of Daimler-Benz.

The history of the sport includes many foreign manufacturers, including Volkswagen and Aston Martin.

Go Jeff!!

Let's see, the Impala is made in Canada, so that would leave out Chevy, and the Dodge is designed in Germany, so that makes them a foreign manufacturer. Most of the engine parts for the big three are made in Korea, Japan, Mexico, and China, so that would leave Toyota, the only car made in the US. I think NASCAR should be open to all manufacturers--it betters the competition.

Are you nuts? They should remain loyal to their roots of having only American manufacturers. Yes, Toyota is now in NASCAR but the Camry is a car built in Kentucky. NASCAR is one of the few sports left that is still truly American despite having some foreign drivers racing. Even through I am not a NASCAR fan and somewhat hate this country, I do like the fact that they are strict in remaining true to their roots and hertiage.

Stay loyal to the US. I do not want to see nissan, mazda, etc....racing in a league built from the ground up in the South. What's next, cup races in Europe and Asia. Makes me sick. NASCAR is making a huge mistake by catering to the rich crowd and leaving the "true" fan out in the cold.
