you don't. they will process him when they process him. ESPECIALLY if they feel he is faking or blowing smoke, they will make his life miserable by dragging their heels. Also, he is NOT a priority for them as they really only care about taking care of the ones that fulfilled their commitment and completed training.
He would have gotten out of there faster had he just sucked it up and completed basic.

Stop babying him. What kind of discharge is that, failure to adapt to military life!!! That means he can't hold a job. People will think he's a loser. You cannot speed up his paper work. The military spent money on shpping him and feeding him and testing him, they will get their moneys worth first. He will cut grass, clean, and anything else they can think of. His friends will graduate training before he gets out. Tell him to put some vagicreme where it hurts and finish his training. It will be the biggest mistake he makes if he gets out.

There is nothing you can do but make things worse for your boyfriend.
First, I doubt the "Drill Sergeant" is pulling any file or delaying your boyfriends departure. Having been a Drill sergeant I doubt he wants your boyfriend around any longer than necessary. A Chapter 11 is handled through the PSNCO. His Drill sergeant has nothing to do with it. This is a personnel action and is subject to Army regulations.
Second, all you can do is irritate people and make your boyfriends life more complicated.
I realize this is a waste of my time....but.....your boyfriend is a loser who will probably always be an underachiever. Besides the fact he obviously lies to you, this discharge will haunt him all his life. Most responsible employers will not hire him. Most women want a man who will provide for them and their children.....your boyfriend may be cute (?) but he will probably never amount to more than delivering pizzas.....good luck

Moomy, you didn't help you son at home and now that he is an adult he is going to have to ride this out like an adult. When the Army decides it is time he will back at your apron strings until then go to the book store and get a couple of books on parenting and try to do something that will actually help your son become and adult male able to cope with life on his own and take care of himself without you driving the whole trip. He needs to grow up and learn life lessons on his own now.

WIth all the Army in training troops , preparing transfers to MOS training, taking care of the paperwork for sending someone home for medical or psychological reasons, is about as low as it can get on a list of things to do.
If he has learned ANYTHING in the Army, it should be "hurry up and wait.'

They will get to him when there's time. Honestly a failure to adapt, ie momma's boy, is so low on the priority list that it may take another couple of weeks. Try letting him wear the big boy pants and man up instead of still trying to breast feed him this late in life.

There is nothing you can do. If anyone could make an impact, it would be the person going through it. All paperwork takes time and discharges take a fair amount in themselves. It is hard, but all you can do is be patient and supportive.
