I found a dress that I love and the color is diamond white, which looks amazing on my skin tone, but I saw a dress similar that only comes in ivory or white. What's the difference between diamond white and ivory?

Hi there!

Well if you are having trouble picking the color then you are the same spot I was in last month. Luckily this new t.v. show helped me out a lot. Follow this link and see the tips they give on dress color and your skin tone

Also, if you are still unsure about the differences in both colors....maybe this site will help.

Diamond White Vs White

Diamond white is between ivory and white. It is slightly warmer than white and slightly less yellow than ivory.
It is meant to be flattering to all skin tones. If you go with the new dress try it on, but I would be more likely to choose ivory rather than white as it is more forgiving to darker or vary pale skin.

from a distance there is no real difference. But if you compare the two you will notice that the ivory has a slightly more yellowy, golden tinge while the diamond white is closer to an off white colour. Chances are if diamond whit suit you so will ivory.

Ivory is more yellow.
If you can, pop into a bridal shop and ask to see the same dress side-by-side in ivory and in white.

it depends on your skin tone. i have very light hair, skin, eyes, and white totally washes me out. ivory actually makes my skin look tan. i wish i could pull off white, but ivory isn't too far off. you can't tell it's not white until you put it next to something white. if you have dark skin, white will probably look best on you.
