I gained a lot of weight during my pregnancy (60 lbs!) and all I've lost is about 20 lbs which is pretty sad since my baby is now 9 months old. I feel so disgusting and I'd give anything to fit into my old clothes again. Anyone have any suggestions for good diets/exercise plans to help get off the pregnancy weight? Its not so easy to pick up and go to the gym anymore with a baby.

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 400-600cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day (have lots of veggies to eat in between meals if you are still hungry)
8 glasses of water -carry bottle of water with you and when you feel hungry drink it - we often confuse hunger with thirst (our bodies confuse it)
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio is the only fat burning exercise and burns fat all over your body (running, jogging, swimming, spinning, elliptical etc) 4-6 times a week for average of 45min, light weight training a few times a week (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, ice cream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
of course you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I understand what you imply! I have 2 and the youngest is over a 12 months historical and I can not rarely drop some weight. You'd consider with how worn out you're on the finish of the day that you would spent all of your time workout! I began the Abs vitamin exercise just a week in the past and I am already cheerful with it. Basically I simply stand up- feed my children and allow them to play even as I spend half-hour workout each different day. After figuring out I have a small breakfast (a banana and toast with peanut butter and jam) after which I simply watch my quantities by way of out the day and drink tons of water. After only a week I have already misplaced two lbs. Not plenty, however it method it's commencing to paintings. The abs vitamin exercise honestly has the figure out dvd and a booklet approximately nutrients, however I do just the DVD. It's particularly well, considering that it tells you that you just can not simply exercise one spot (the abs!) and drop some weight , however it does have a exercise for the entire frame with an emphasis at the ab discipline in three one-of-a-kind phases (newbie, intermediate, complicated) Also- if you're now not nursing, seem right into a colon cleanse (the natural variety) If your frame is just too clogged up you then can not with no trouble flush the fats. Good success!

I have 4 kids and after my second baby, I needed to do something, so I took the stroller and began walking/jogging. It saved me! Every other day or so I would do something at home, the jump rope, tae-bo, yoga. I also cut out my sugar, just my sugar and that made a huge difference! It was tough, but doable. In the evenings or afternoons when I'd get a craving, I'd make a fruit shake and a piece of whole grain toast with a super thin skif of Adam's Peanut Butter. The first month of this, I lost 15 lbs, by month 2, I was running 3 miles straight (slow) and had lost another 10 lbs, after that the weight loss slowed a little, but in about 6-7 months, I'd lost 50 lbs.

You just need to make a plan and stick to it as best you can. Good Luck!

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

The way not to do it is starve yourself, to start with. Just exercise and eat right. I did....lost 90 LBS because of it. Starving yourself won't help at all. Drink more water, eat less before bed, and don't eat for stress are the 3 things I follow and i'm going pretty well if i don't say myself. 90 LBS isn't anything like 5-10lbs so take my advice. If you want anymore details, feel free to email me. Just please be patient for ppl seem to email me for advice on this, I will reply, don't worry! ~Adia
