To those of you on here who are bashing the atheists, pagans, agnostics, etc. tell me, if one of them were to come on here tomorrow and say they were a born again Christian, would you accept them?
Even after you've thrown every insult you could think of their way when they didn't believe?

I understand that not all Christians bash others. I was really only addressing the people on here who are nasty.
Sorry if I came across as insulting to all Christians, really, that's not the case.
I don't judge people based on their beliefs. To each his/her own.

I've been one of those people you're talking about. I realized what a hag I had been and I apologized in one of my questions. So, my answer would be I'm willing to accept people for who they are now...beliefs and all. Doesn't mean I'm going to agree with what they believe, but I'm done trying to "force" it. I'll still go on and state my opinion, but I won't be rude about it anymore - maybe I'll try to be funny (that might not work, either, lol). However, I'm going to try my best to remind myself that others believe just as strongly as I do in whatever they believe to be true. Hopefully that will reflect in my answers.

We don't bash people. We love them. After all, Jesus loves them, so should we.
When we share Christ with the atheists, pagans, agnostics, etc. it is through the love of Christ that we witness to them. So that they can come to the knowledge of the truth. And be saved.
And when they are saved, or become 'born-again', we rejoice with the angels in heaven over their salvation.

KJ,
My family and I are Christians. We read, study, and obey HIS WORD to the best of our ability. I try Never to be judgmental and pushy with anyone on here and I NEVER call others names for any reason. I try my best not to insult others every time that I answer questions. Please understand that there are some people in every group who do not like to play with others. Have a great weekend.
Thanks,
Eds

Questions in this area of YA arouse more anger on both sides than any other, no doubt. Yes, I would embrace an atheist that came to believe. Come to think of it, I would embrace one that didn't.

I feel equally bashed by both the atheists and the christians...The atheists say I am stupid for believing in God and the Christians say my God isn't good enough. I bet they don't even realize the common ground they share!!!!!

Well, obviously you've figured out that condemning them is not the way to convert them and not the way Jesus converted anybody. The kinder you treat people, the more interested they are in what makes you that way.

I don't bash anyone. So, when anyone says they have been born again, I would rejoice. I am only a sinner saved by the grace of God.

Of course they would. They would pat themselves on the back and add another notch to thier bedpost to show Saint Peter at the gates. Look at what a gooooood Christian they are. They brought over another poor poor poor deceived soul.
My soul is NOT for sale. Besides, the Christian god's offer SUCKS.
