I am constantly being told by Christians that I will burn in hell and all that garbage for being Wiccan. Why???

I am a Christian and my brother in law is Wiccan. I don't think I have ever told him he was going to burn in hell. I also don't believe in a burning hell anyway. I worry about him because if my beliefs are true (as I obviously believe they are), he won't be with me in the new heaven and new earth. It makes me sad because I love him (not in THAT way... but you know what I mean), and don't want him to miss out on a beautiful eternity.

I get upset sometimes because we were never suppose to approach people with anger and hate. Those are NOT fruits of the spirit. Love is the only way to approach someone and if they choose not to believe, that is their choice. God never forced anything on anyone and neither should we.

I don't think it is a good image for Christians to run around telling people they are going to hell for their beliefs. We should be offering the 'Good news", Not condemning. Only God decides who stays and who goes. It isn't our call!

I am very sorry that people claiming to be Christian are treating you that way. Please believe we are not all that way and our God does not promote that type of behavior.

i"m guessing that they are trying to tell you something they think is important.

but the fact is, from the bible at least as the authority for this statement, you will not burn in hell for being wiccan. No body goes to hell for what they do,

they go to hell for what they do not do, and that is accept Jesus as GOD and Savior.

Now that the record is strait, here is the bottom line. You have a life to live and you have to live it the best you can. If you ask a christian for his thoughts, and he replies you are going to hell for being wiccan, you know he is not right. But you, my friend must still navigate your life according to what is right in your heart.

If you wish to explore the christian faith, then fine, I encourage it, but I have friends who are wiccan and they want nothing to do with Jesus. I don't force my faith on them.

go in peace

Not all Christians are like that. I'm a Christian and I have a friend from a different religion. Nevertheless, we get along well. Those who insult you may think that your beliefs are dumb, but I don't think that. Each individual person is unique and therefore has different beliefs. I learned this early and therefore understand why people have different faiths. Don't mind those who insult you because they will go to hell for insulting you in the first place. (It's one of our Christian Commandments)

Christians don't consider it an insult to say that people are going to hell. The simply believe it's something that's true. Believe me, most Christians wish their religion wasn't so offensive to other people, because they don't like the hostility they recieve because of it. But the fact that it's offensive has nothing whatsoever to do with whether or not it's true. Christians simply report, sometimes reluctantly, what they think is true, and they happen to think it's true that people will go to hell for their sins unless they are willing to accept the salvation that Jesus offers them.

The same reason Non-Christians insult Christians.
We do not understand each other. Christians are not perfect, they are still sinful. I think non-Christians expect Christians
to be saints. Church is a hospital for sinners not a hotel for saints. Christian people are trying to follow God's rules.
We slip up all the time. God gives us true forgiveness and grace to live each day so we meet him in Eternal life.
We are born to sin. The wages of sin is death. However,
God gives us a choice. All we have to do is believe!
Just remember we all make mistakes. As A Christian I am no better or less sinful than you.

maximum of my pals be attentive to that i do no longer share their ideals. they're ok... i do no longer tell them my finished ideals because of the fact i do no longer % to take a solid ingredient remote from solid human beings. i'm no longer into pulling human beings from their help systems. I had a woman "witness" to me for an hour this three hundred and sixty 5 days. And by using the top, she known because it "fellowshipping". She is familiar with i'm no longer a Ch... yet we share some truths. i've got faith prayer... regardless of sort... works. i've got faith some thing else is on the industry and we will not in any respect have the means to define it. She theory i became a christian. Hmmmmm i do no longer think of she became listening. i've got not got faith in Sin, devil, Heaven, Hell, or Jesus as a savior... How does that make me a christian back? LOL! nicely... on yet another observe, as quickly as I answer some human beings's q's they have a tendency to think of so because of the fact I write with love. (quite often) I actual have stumbled on that the christians write with judgement and hate and pity, no longer love.... so how does that make me a christian???? back???? solid Q. thank you.

A lot of Christians who may post such things may really believe in what they are saying, and they don't mean to offend but rather may feel that they have to warn or save souls. I can certainly understand where you might be coming from with this, because I was told similar things, though not on the forums. But it still upsets me when I see it happening towards others on these forums.

hm, the alternative is that you will go to heaven for being wiccan.

dont take it to heart, everyone is going to burn in hell because nobody is perfect, even christians.

so whats the point?
Well, you can either get whats coming, or let someone else take the fault for your deeds. I am not talking about wicca either.
I am talking in general, unless you think you never done ANYTHING wrong in your whole life.

So in this case, you can accept Christ Yeshua as your saviour.

simply put, we broke God's laws and Yeshua took the death penalty for us so we don't have to.

Thats the simplicity of it, no religion, no priest, no donations.
Those are just man made crap.

You want to be forgiven? THEN YOU ARE.

So what next?

Love your neighbor before yourself.- less time for yourself, more time for africa-- and money for them.

Love your enemies --- YES and that means DONT KILL THEM.== crusaders lol...

Forgive others as God has forgiven you.
NO CONDITIONS NO RECORDS NO DELAYS.

Live your life with peace patience kindness goodness gentleness generousity (yes generousity)
Again not talking about wasting money on a church building.
sponsor a child in africa or something.
start with 10% of your income, step up gradually based on your ability.

if you want to discuss the details you can email me too,
like why would he send people to hell
( if it sounds unfair, unjust or evil or un loving etc)
why not just forgive everyone, etc.

What is sin, etc.
sin means missing the mark like in archery- you miss the target or you never shoot.

the target is being perfect.
so why doesnt God just allow anyone?
if they enter heaven with even a slight bit of sin, they will get annhialated- God's pureness is like fire to anything impure.

So God does offer cleansing, its up to us if we wanna be humble and recieve it or be arrogant and say we can clean ourselves up.

theres more details but thats a simple quick version.

Because that's what they believe. I agree that they are incorrect, and they tell me the same thing. But I do not see it as an insult. Saying, "If you play in traffic, you'll get hit by a car" is not an insult, even if it is a false conclusion. The folks you are talking about (who, by no means, represent the majority view in Christianity) honestly believe that you will go to hell for being Wiccan, and they honestly don't want you to go to hell.

I really dont know. I am a christian but i repsect all religions. I believe people should be able to believe what they want. I think they say that because they have nothing else to do, they are the most un-christian like people i know, and they obviously do not read the Bible.

Matthew 7:1 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge
others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

Im not trying to change your religion or anything but maybe you will think about this: "I rather believe there is a God an when i die find out there isnt, then not believe there is a God and later find out there is."
