If I were to believe everything I see on the news I would say they hate each other. I am neither Muslim or Christian. I just wish we all could play in the same sand box together.

While both religions worship the same deity, the "god" of Abraham, each opposes the other. The Christians think Muslims are going to hell, and vice versa. The matter is further confused by the fact that people in this country don't realize that the word 'allah' means "god" so they think they're talking about two different deities. They aren't.
It would be funny if people weren't being tortured and killed because of a misunderstanding.

i think of you will desire to take heed to webby claus. Its no longer non secular, atleast no longer as much as that's political. because of the fact, there are super chunks of the Christian inhabitants (extremely non-Maronite Christians) who ingredient with Shiite Hizbollah. it extremely is not, and not in any respect has been basically Christian as against Muslim. in maximum situations Shiite Muslims and Sunni Muslims are very divided religiously and politically. throughout the Civil conflict of 1975-1990 distinctive political and sectarian Muslim communities attacked one yet another. Then there is the entire difficulty of the Palestinian Refugees. quite often Muslim, yet many additionally Christians. Palestinians (the two Christian and Muslim) tend to stick jointly. examine up on Michael Auon. he's the Christian opposition chief. he's at present aligned with Hizbollah. whilst the present leaders in Lebanon aligned with the US and the west are the two a Christian and a Sunni. Please, do no longer think of it extremely is a lot Christian as against Muslim. it is extra like politics right here. There are Republican Jews, Muslims and Christians. same with Democrats. And, extremely, seem at Catholics. contained in the previous few elections catholics have split down the middle, whilst they often had heavily voted Democrat contained in the 60's, 70's, 80's and ninety's.

The Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said:
"Islam began as something strange, and it shall return to being something strange, so give glad tidings to the strangers."
The strangers are those who command the good while everyone else ar commanding the bad, are those who forbid the evil while everyone else are forbidding the good.
When the whole world was a dark place, a light emerged from Mecca that would have a solution for all of mankind. It is the only perfect monothestic religion that calls on the Worship of Only One God. The God of All the prophets from Adam to Noah, to Jesus and Moses, to David and Soloman, to Abraham and Jacob and as well as Muhammad, peace be uponthem all.
Where am I going with this? Those who truly follow ISlam are strangers, we already know that, you will hate us no matter what we do, why?Because we will never change our ways just to please the creation while we disobey the Creator.
So, al those who are talking about Islam in a negative way, its fine, that is the desired result. So you see, we are taught to deal with everyone in th best manners. And we do.

According to the Muslims - Jews, Christians & Muslims are followers of the books (Torah, Injeel & Quran).
We Muslims feels that those two earlier books of God have been ammended.
The Torah did say about the coming of Jesus. The Jews couldn't accept it & killed many prophets of theirs.
Jesus is not the son of God. & bible was amended too.
But what the heck, whatever & whoever riight or wrong, it is not anyones fault here today. Just be good & GOD loves everyone!

i believe that Jesus died and ressurected.
the Christians
the Jews record that he died on the cross.
the Pagan Romans recorded that he died on the cross.
the Muslims.. well they say he didnt really die on the cross.
Jews, Pagans, Christians were there.
Jews, Pagans, Christians came before muslims.
So, in a small example you can see how I feel about their beliefs.
But the people themselves.. I don't have a problem with people in general, I can't blame the whole group for the actions of some or even the majority.
I might make statements that address the majority but I am not blaming all of them.
Something I like about the majority of those I encounter is that they do want to discuss it.
The problem often though is that it seems few speak english.
The ones who do speak clear english seem to be complacent to the majority of those who are in other countries that we hear alot of.
Other people, well I feel sad with the majority of them wanting to kill the Jews in Israel..
An example being when Iraq attacked Israel and now another Islamic leader wanting to destroy Israel.
I am just sick of the mindset that these people want to destroy the Jews.
Those who are Muslim and LOVE Jews.. I don't got problems with you.

Islam does not teach kids to "strap bombs to themselves."
You have seen a desperate people in the Middle East fighting against Israeli occupation.
Nowhere in the Quran does it even mention suicide bombing.
Most of you guys guessed right--- Muslims regard Christians with respect, as long as the Christians do the same in return.
Modern Christians are very open-minded people :)

All the evidence that I've seen indicates that the two groups are antitheses. According to Dr. Hagee, the very term Allah is pagan in origin, from the name of the moon god in a now-extinct Semitic/Hamitic cult (which may explain the crescent badge used by Islamic states and mosques); Muhammad may have been personally involved in the extermination of said cult, if the Hadith is any clue, not to mention other cults that existed on the Arabian penninsula in his lifetime (cf. Surah 9). Furthermore, according to Hagee, Allah works with wicked spirits to populate Hell (Surot 6:39,126; 32:13; 43:36,37)--wicked spirits that, according to John of Patmos, are destined for eternal torture in a lake of fire prepared for those who rebel against the Sovereign LORD of Hosts (Revelation 20:15).
Yohanan Ben-Yushef gave the Church a criterion by which to judge angels, voices from Heaven, dreams, &c., as to whether they are of God (1 John 4:1-3); Hagee assigns a failure assessment to the various reports in the Quran according to this criterion.

God blessed the religion of monotheism since Adam and Abraham, then God gave the holy book Zabur to David prophet,Torakh to Moses prophet,Bible to Jesus prophet and the last updated holy book Islam to the last prophet Muhammad pbuh.Islam and its followers respect those religions before Islam which were given by Allah the only one God as the life guide. We do not want to insult and hate the other religion followers such as jewish religion and christianity. They are our brothers and sisters since Adam and Eve.The difference lies on its fairh. We muslims convince that Muhammad was the last prophet and Qur'an is the latest holy book given by AQllah the only one God.Muslims did not regard Jesus as the son of God.He was only human asw a prophet who was born by mother Mary without father.God wanted him like that.God created Adam without mother and father..God has omni potence.Islam was developed by Muhammad and its close friends without force.Muslims around the world can live peacefully with other religion's followers as long as they respect muslims and they do not insult and disturb muslims.Muslims can work together with other religion's followers.Muslims do not view christians as our enemy as long as they treat us well and no ill intention.
We know that the Bible as stated by God in Qur'an,now is not oroginal anymore. But we do not care about it,because each person should responsible to each own doings.Christians' religion is theirs,we muslims will not disturb them.Muslims are tolerant. and we do not offensive. We muslims are defensi

A bit of a history lesson here. Ishmael (illegitamate) and Jacob (legitamate) were the son's of Isaac and Judaism follows the God of Jacob son of Isaac who follows Abraham. Ishmael is the father of the Arabs whose head God is the God of the Muslims. This goes back thousands of years, sorry I doubt have the links to post but various history lessons have been taught to me. Christianity comes from Judaism and Muslims believe that they come from Christiantiy. Muslims don't believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God which makes them completely different because that's how Christianity works. Muslims do however believe that Jesus is returning and will save all who believe in Jesus. They just believe that Jesus is a prophet but not as important as Mohammad.
Basically the major difference between the two is Jesus Christ IS the Son of God, which is where Christianity is formed.
