It depends on how you use it, if you get addicted and fu** up your life, then yes it sure is! But if you use it once in a while, then no, it's just a social aid! lol um maybe this is the wrong question for me to answer...

Yes, alcohol is a drug. Alcohol can affect every organ in the human body - brain, liver, stomach and heart to name a few! In teenagers and adults as well, behavior that occurs “under the influence” of alcohol can also lead to serious threats to life and health. Although alcohol is not a prescription drug or an illegal substance (for adults), it carries all the risks of addiction and illness that street drugs do.

according to the law no because it is legal so getting drunk and killing innocent people was bought over the counter and is legal.but getting caught with a small amount of weed is jail time in most states.
