It runs east-west, parallel to Lake Ontario, and in all of Toronto, it is the street that is nearest to the Lake.

It runs from Lakeshore Blvd. and Parliament Street on the east, to Bathurst Street on the west, at which point it is within less than ten metres of the water

If you wanted to reach the Island Airport you would go to Bathurst and Queen's Quay to reach the airport ferry, and if you wanted to go to the main set of islands, such as Centre Island, Hanlan's Point, or Ward Island, you would also be on Queen's Quay, but at Bay Street.

Between York and Yonge Streets you will find mostly hotels and high-rise condominiums overlooking the water. To reach the ferry for the main islands you have to walk between the buildings.

Redpath had their Canadian base and a sugar museum on Queen's Quay there for many years, just east of Yonge Street. . I believe it was recently sold.

Queens Quay is located at the southern part of Toronto. It is located parallel to Lake Ontario and Lakeshore Blvd.

It's called simply "Queens Quay". No "Boulevard". And you can find it on Google Maps

My mother lived in Woods Manor. It's clean, rooms are small, close to shopping and street cars and buses. I hope you are already on a waiting list, it can take years to get into one of these places. Maybe you have already been accepted and that is how you got the names of these apartments.
