All i want to do is create a check in Quickbooks. But i can't get a check number to appear on the check. Thanks

You obviously had to start with a check number when you set it up. If you now want to print a check, give it a try. Otherwise, go for help in the help files. Good luck.

There are two ways to do this. You can go to the check writing screen that shows a check and enter the check number on the check in the top right corner - make sure the little box under the check to the right, print this check, is unchecked or you won't be able to enter a number.

The second way is to go to the check register and enter the check there. Just fill it in like you would a regular bank register.

If you want to print the check you need to mark that little box under the check to print it then when you go to print the check it will ask for the beginning check number.

By the way, you have to use preprinted checks. QuickBooks will not print check numbers or account numbers on checks.

I did a similar issue. i bought the QB 2007 professional and that i prefer to place in it to a distinctive computing device. of direction the Reg questions looks. do exactly it on line or if it does not artwork ( like mine ) Then only call and that they'll supply you a code ( offering that your the landlord ) They do this to up-sell their different products or on your Case a greater contemporary version ( only say no thank you )
