Wondering what to i guess.. look forward to while i am in TX for MA school. Also are there many females who have this as there job?? And what can i exspect as shore duty?

Shore duty??? You will be going to GITMO, Cuba where you will then deploy to Iraq and other countries in the region. As a junior MA you will be doing lots of grunt and dangerous work even as a female. MA may sound exciting but the last Navy job you should have chosen if you wanted to stay in the states hanging out on shore duty. Right now you will spend your entire first enlistment in a foreign county protecting other service members. TX overall sucks, but San Antonio is ok. The Alamo sucks so go see the local missions instead, very interesting. Don't go to the mall and buy out the stores, you will only be living out of your seabag for the time being.

anywhere for shore duty, including GITMO or any stateside location who could immediately send you IA to Iraq or Afghanistan. Other OCONUS locations include Japan, Korea and Italy.
