The key is being confident in who you are first. Just think of talking to a girl as only getting to know her as friends. You can never have too many friends. Be friendly, confident, but not cocky. Confidence is appealing to most women. Knowing who you are and what you want in life, having goals, and good family and friends. Look them in the eye when you talk to them. That tells us that you are actually interested in what we have to say. We are people too. Best wishes to you.

To be perfectly honest with you, I think that if you choose the right girl, you will be able to talk to her easier. If you try to choose someone based on superficial things, you will not be comfortable because you will always be thinking about what you need to 'be' to impress her.
Then, I suggest that you start slow. Look her in the eye (girls love that). Smile. One of the easiest things you can do is ask questions. Then the focus is on her, and you can learn about her in the process.

More than anything, be yourself. If she is going to like you, she needs to know who YOU are. If she gets to know you, and it doesn't work out, you did nothing wrong. It is just not meant to be. Don't try to force any relationship, as it will end badly. And it won't be any fun!

If you haven't met someone already, try meeting them in decent places... not bars or parties. Church is a great place to meet girls.

Good luck!

well, i used to be shy but i figured that talking to a girl wasnt really that bad. All you have to do is just be yourself and let out the funny or friendly part about you. It may be a little hard in the beginning but you will get used to it and wont have trouble with it again. Remember its only a girl dont be afraid

Take a deep breath. Personally, I love it when guys talk to me, because it shows they're confident. But I'm not really sure how to tell you how you should get confidence. I guess just go for it, don't even think!

aww youre so cutee
alright alright alright so what you have to do first is RELAX
girls. Talk to and act like you respect them as much as you would your guy friends. If you like a girl or..(if this is why your nervous) then just dont act like you do. just talk to her as a person. If youre acting like your trying to get with her..shell know and be turned off and probably kinda sketched out. Key things are just be chill and respectful and youre golden as long as you dont act like an overly full of himself jerk. girls are never impressed by those..

hope this helps :)
no worries man..girls are people too hah

Honestly, practice. Get used to talking to everybody, men and women. Start conversations with random people until that becomes comfortable. After awhile, you naturally become more social and talking to a girl won't be so "scary".

You're a lot like me. But I found out that you need to constantly practice confidence, around your friends and around people you don't know. You need to be willing to take risks without fear of failure, just go for it and don't think about it too much. Trust me, just try it for a week and you will notice big changes.

Well you'd better hurry up and find some before that other guy swoops in and whisks her off her feet. How can we be expected to wait for the shy nervous guy when we don't even know he likes us because he never says anything?

start with a smile, take a deep breath and say hello! she will say hello back I am sure. tell her you are nervous , tell her that it's been awhile since you felt someone was interesting enough for you to put yourself out there! If she is a nice girl she will reply with patience, if not on to the next one! don't give up is my point it gets easier every time.
