Yeah, I've had that before, not any fun at all. You can get medicine for it, but if you can tough it out, just avoid caffiene, spicy food, chocolate, alcoholic beverages, etc as much as you can, and eventually it will get better. Or just get the meds for it. It may still take awhile to get better, though.

This is called Acid Reflux also known as G.E.R.D. and the soreness that you are feeling at the bottom of your throat could be from the acids coming back up from your stomach. It really sounds like you should get to your doctor because having this disease can get worse and you can prevent it from getting by getting on medications such as Nexium or Prevacid. Take care and please contact a doctor.

It's the acid coming up thru the esophagus. Make an appt. to see a gastroenterologist so you can get on the proper medication.

Ive heard of people taking a supplement called Himalayan Gogi juice and it seems to help with that stuff.Hopefully it helps you.Good luck!

i had the same thing go to a doctor who will send you to a surgeon and they will scope you. You can seriously chew up your esophagus, and you can't replace it. It changes the structure to than of your stomach lining and you can't swallow because it doesn't undulate and make your food go down.

Go to the store and get Prilosec. It works. If it doesn't work, go see a doctor cause there's something else wrong with you.

sounds like it could be the acid eating around your sphincter muscles... from refluxing?
