Ok by accident i was looking at this website called familywatchdog.us . I do often go to this website because i want to make sure my neighborhood is safe for my son. When doing this i was shocked to see a friend whom we have let in our house, took to dinner and hung out at his house. He is an older man. I have never left my son alone with him thank god! But when i did a search to see in his state what the real offence was due to, it was child molesting a female relative between the ages of 0-5 years old. It did not list the childs correct age. However i am just really hurt that i know this. Do we say something to him? He is a good guy and he is the last person we would have thought would do something like this.

the age was right it just said that it was between the age of 0 and 5 years old. I did say he is not to be around my son i would never be able to deal with myself if i let him back in and something happened!

Yes, you should say something to him. You said the website got the child's age wrong? Perhaps it was a case of statutory rape (which can be prosecuted under the child molestation laws). Some sex offenders just made a mistake, some are what I call "true offenders" who have had sex with children on purpose. I would also look to see if he is listed on other sites or if it is just that one, as well as ask your child what they think of him. Many children do sense inappropriate behavior, even if you don't. The most important thing is to keep your child safe, and this may mean cutting ties with this person for good.

Keep your distance and be careful and NEVER leave your son alone with him. You never know whats on their mind. They can seem like the nicest people but their mind and thoughts are so evil

Everybody is a "good guy" but everybody has their limits, and he has exceeded his.
He can't be trusted anymore because you have kids. He can't be trusted with you either. Back away and wean yourself off this friendship. You are giving him opportunities he cannot be trusted with, even if you think his story is true.

If you decide to not be his friend anymore, get as far away from him as you can because if he finds out you knew about him being a sex offender, he might do something bad to you and/or your kid.

At first I was going to say don't jump to conclusions because it could have been a urinating in public charge, but he is a pedophile. Stop associating with him, and if he asks why, tell him.

Now you know it. Don't trust him with your child. Yes let him know you know it. Don't make a specular of him. Treat him like you would like to be treated. Just don't trust him. Let him tell you his side of the story. But how many times have i said it? "Don't trust him"

Ouch. If I found that information out about a friend, I would quickly drop it. Molestation, incest..it's all wrong.

my swim coach, who we all thought was gay, was really a sexx offender or watever.
they're always the people u dont suspect...they act all nice, but theyre really not. you shouldnt talk to him about it, just talk to him less and less. and slowly fade from contact.
think about your son, what's best for him
