Obviously we aren't doing enough, but it seems many localities around the US are deporting illegals, punishing landlords and businesses, and doing other things. Do you believe its working? Do you think that border enforcement is beginning to work as well? Do you think it will continue or not continue to get together?

Yes, everywhere. The American people finally decided the federal government wasn't going to do it's job and decided enough is enough! It got the ball rolling and is a start but we need to stay on our Congressmen and women until the border is secure and the fence built, and the handouts cut off! That alone should get rid of quite a few. It will continue!

I've read that some illegals are leaving since they are afraid of deportation. GOOD! There should be many more deportations. BTW, that includes the WHOLE FAMILY, including the anchor babies! The kids, that unfortunately are citizens, can come back when they are adults.

However our government, under the lack of leadership of Jorge Bush (AKA Mexican butt kisser), won't be doing enough until all 30+ million illegal alien criminals are back in their home countries. They don't belong here and I want them gone before they do more damage.

Being in May of 2006 many in congress and the president were poised to grant another one time amnesty, almost identical to the last one time only amnesty in 1986, so all in all we are not where we need to be, but being the amnesty was stopped we should be grateful, but we need to keep the pressure on and repeat over and over that the immigration policy of our country should be for our wants and needs not the illegals no matter how groups like LaRaza and such that want to cram down our throats their view of endless waves of illegals and open borders

Yes but in the wrong spots for now

It's starting to happen in Oklahoma and central states. But it's really more urgent in California and New York for example

It's like an ER truck comes to a pederstrian who has a scratch, when a block away there's a lonely and bleeding injured motorcyclist

I think that the Oklahoma thing will inspire a lot of other states to do what is right and send illegals packing. And there are a lot more raids in my state. They've netted a bunch of them. So, it's only going to get better! The less that they are able to find work, the quicker that this parade is over.

What's going on right now is a political stunt to drum up support for Amnesty. Enforcement is minimal, but high profile, and often targets the most sympathetic illegals possible (families with american-citizen children, workers in factories that supply the troops, etc).

As long as Americans keep the pressure on Washington things will continue to improve.

No, it's not working. The USA is still full of Aglo's squatting on land stolen from the Native Americans.

Worse still, these Anglo's are hypocritically repelling Mexican nationals who actually owned the southern border states of Texas and California until they were stolen by force.

Perhaps the Mexicans should recognise the power they hold over the supply of oil to the USA and use it to demand the return of land illegally siezed by the USA on which the border has illegally been errected and enforced.

It is starting to work, but much more needs to be done. I think they are just throwing crumbs at us thinking that the minimal amount they are doing will appease us for a while.

Wrong.

Guilty? or are you so hyped up by your cronies on Fox; Lou Dobbs etc. that all you feel is pure savage anger and bitterness? You guys need to be very careful, evaluate yourselves in a big big way.
