MasterCard Inc., the world's No. 2 credit card processor, said Wednesday that increased cardholder spending, particularly overseas, boosted its profit by 63 percent in the third quarter.

It means that they are still making huge, record profits. Which is strange because they also claim that due to the number of defaulted accounts they have to raise user fees to cover the losses????

At what point will you folks realize you are being hosed???

alot of people overseas created more personal debt for themselves, and Mastercard, made a profit by them using their card to do so.

it is good for mastercard but not the community that s using it.. u know that using such card means credit.

it means that more peole overseas are using the card its good for them but means nothing to us
