While I was in the military, especially while I was in Basic Training, I remember FIGHTING for our CONSTITUTION and NOT any one President.
People need to wake up before we no longer have a Constitution, and anyone who is part of the Council of Foreign Relations (The majority of presidential candidates) believe in destroying it by backing NAFTA, CAFTA, the SPP and ultimately creating the North American Union.

Ron Paul has more contributions from military than any other candidate. Apparently you're not the only veteran who finds his views appealing.

I am a veteran, but sadly I know little about Ron Paul. That said, I have friends who speak well of him. Clinton is a good way to lead America into becoming "Amerika" (this is the Russian spelling for America). Regardless of what that female says, she is communist through and through and is a threat to all of us. I won't say it here, but she is a menace that we don't need.
The number one problem is that if the vast majority do not back this man we could have a repeat of the election that got us the terror years with skirt chaser clinton. In that election, we had Ross Perot running for President which watered down the voting power that could have stopped the skirt chaser. If we are not very careful we could do the same thing and get Comrade Clinton. Those opposed to the Comrade need to get the people to vote so that Comrade Clinton doesn't get enough votes to win. That means we for once in our history all get together as the Moral Majority did, and back our best candidate. If the Republican candidate isn't what we want, then we need to push, and push hard for Ron Paul. If it is a grass roots campaign to get people away from a traditional party candidate, and to vote for Ron Paul, then that is what all of us need to do. At all cost, stop Clinton. Even a poor Republican would be better than Comrade Clinton with her hate for our system of government and military.

I'm a Vietnam veteran and I totally support Ron Paul. I've donated as much as I can to his campaign. For those who don't support him (and there may be too many), I think the reason is because they don't know what freedom means in our country.
Paul is not promising "a chicken in every pot". He is promising constitutional government.

I am a vet and am in favor of a Ron Paul Presidency. But like any independent both parties will unite to destroy his campaign. Politicians for REAL change never get elected. How good a President would he make? He cannot do any worse than Johnson, Nixon, Carter or Bush. At this point I would prefer a Jefferson Davis presidency than the current maniac.

You better open up your eyes and accept the fact that every politician is going to lie to get elected. After he or she gets elected he or she is going to lie some more to get re-elected.
Wake up
Just because you think America is some kind of magical wonderful fairy tale goodie-goodie land doesn't mean the rest of us do.
I served active duty too
Politicians lied then and they lie now
They don't give a rodent's backside about us veterans and neither does anyone else, besides ourselves. It would not kill us to educate the rest of America about how often it is we all really get lied to. Maybe then people wouldn't support candidates based upon the BS they say.
If you want to get get on a soap box, tell America to write in a candidate that won't become a prostitute to special interest groups.
Good luck

We do have a constitution, it's just that many ignore it.
I'm for much of what Ron Paul stands for, but I don't think he's got a snowball's chance of making it, and I haven't really studied some of his other issues. I like his non-interventionist stance, but I haven't studied him enough to know where he stands on LGBT rights and other issues.

Love this country -- and hate the political garbage we sunk into and the ease with which these demigods have taken our Constitutional liberties apart under the "guise" of Security !! And detest the way that they done this by beating people to death through an orchestrated agenda of FEAR !!!
I will vote for Ron Paul as an Independant
and say to those who speak of "no way"
hide and watch !!!!!!

Hello Fed-Up. I served 7 years 5 months active USAF!
Ron Paul served 5 years USAF during Viet Nam!
That may be the main reason many military support him! He's One Of Us!
If you remember during our active basic training days, we had a way to deal with the loud-mouths that tended to be over-full of B.S.
It was called a "Blanket Party"! I wish we could invite some of these Y. A.-B. S.ers to a blanket party, especially for them.
I support Ron Paul because I've been following him for over 25 years, read & own a book he wrote, & agree with most of his political stands.
At the time I was in the military,,,,,I kept hearing the words of a famous song, in my head......I think it was named Custers Last Stand.......The famous words were:
SSWWWOOOOSSSSHHH! {An Arrow!}
WHAT AM I DOIN HERE????
But, I survived & Will Vote & Support Dr. Paul,,,,,,Till they pry the weapon from my dead hands.
Thank you for the question.

I am a veteran and I am not voting for Ron Paul. I did take an oath to the Constitution, the whole Constitution. I doubt Congressman Paul has actually read the Constitution; the things he proposes are not constitutional.

i respect ron paul because he believes in the constitution, he believes in this country, not fighting for the freedoms of other countries and letting ours go to hell. i believe that we are not in the position to assist any other country until we take care of home first. that includes immigration, getting rid of no child left behind, getting rid of america's dependence on other countries for everything and become self sufficient. and don't get me started on the cfr. i don't want to type a term paper.
