(You always make me think and rethink:)
Answer: I do it cause it was a habit learned during childhood. (Before I read the Bible) --- It's not a bad thing, it is just very distractive from whom we should be thanking for our good fortune, -- the people around us.
After reading the Bible (Gospels about what Jesus said/ not Paul) ........ Jesus would not want us to "loyally" and "rotely" thank him or God, he would want us to thank our neighbors - so to say.
Just my opinion -

partly confident yet what's shown approximately him is arguable and if he theory he became saving the worldwide for god then he became subject to delusions of grandeur as nicely only many great adult men have additionally been stricken with psychological issues at one element of their lives . With all do appreciate for the two the legend and what ever jesus actual became apart from a guy, faith remains incredulous . Demons do no longer exist from now on than gods do, being in common terms the products of the psychic interest of guy. Sigmund Freud

Most likely God. However, since this is a companion to your other question, I can see that my answer is highly illogical. I guess I also attribute it to good karma, being in the right place at the right time, noticing the deer running alongside my car, etc. I've just never been much into the blame game, and I've never expected my life to be wine and roses just because I happen to believe. I guess I'm weird. :D

I pray to the ONE G-d. There is none else. Jesus has nothing to do with G-d except that he also believed in one G-d as every observant Jew does.

No one. Even though I do have some control over how good or bad it gets, life is really a huge game of chance .

I thank God for everything good in my life. I continue to thank him for everything during the bad times in my life.

You always pray to GOD and end it in Jesus name, which shows that you are a believer.
