Guys are nowhere near as complex as girls, just go up to him and tell him you would like it if he took you to movies/dinner/bar or whatever.
Most guys enjoy not beating around the bush and just get to the point. If we has any intrest in you he will jump all over your offer.

When you talk to him, just be yourself, dont try to plan what your gonna say, it never works out. Say something simple like you like the shirt hes wearing or something.
