God put an angel with a flaming sword by the gate of Eden so no one could get to the tree of Life. Man said "screw you God". we don't want your stupid Tree of Life. We want a Mercedez Benz. "I don't think I would like living forever".

Symbolic I think a flaming sword. It can be a positive thing to do Gods will over our own. It is my will that Gods will be done.There is a better explanation for and about the tree of life. That's not to say Mercedez Benz are not a good thing just that it is a material thing and has limited value. I would propose that we will survive through FAITH. A belief that HAS SHAPED OUR LIFE SO THAT WE DESIRE TO BE GOD LIKE. The rest, for most, can be worked out when they arrive.

I believe man (most of them) has "pulled the switch" on God. But I don't agree with your reasoning. Yes, people want things, but most would want to live for ever. That way they wouldn't be accountable. But we live once, then judgment.
