he is just visiting because dats his career but i dont want him to go cuz im gonna miss him and he wouldnt be coming back till next year. its always the what if cuz i like him. i cant wait on him cuz i got my life too but omg i dont want him go. what should i do? should i pretend i never met him?

Not much you can do, unless you can afford to take care of him the way he's taking care of himself. Then if thats the case, ask him to stay.

"I can't wait on him cuz I got my life too" tends to suggest that you only like him, and don't see the relationship going anywhere even if you did continue the relationship when he left.
It is possible to have a long-distance relationship. I did it for four years. But you have to love the person and the pain of not being with them has to be greater than the pain of having them so far away. You have a choice to make. Sure, you will miss him, but will you get over it in five minutes?
Don't pretend you never met him, nothing good would come from that. Just keep in touch with him. Maybe one day he will move there, or maybe in your correspondence with him you will decide you want to give a relationship a try.
At least you'd be leaving your options open instead of just decided that you want to forget him when you are in an emotional state because he is leaving.
