About all you can do is eat very small meals with bland, no-fat foods. It may also help to remain semi-upright, so nothing is pressing on the gallbladder. Avoid all the cabbage family members, including broccoli- those tend to cause gas in the best circumstances. Until you have the surgery, there's not much that can be done except that and painkillers. You have just reached the point where there's no other options, unfortunately. Sorry you are having such frequent pain, hope the surgery date is close. You will feel immensely better when it's done, promise.

I wish they had given you some pain pills while waiting on the surgery. The pains are so bad. I would have to roll up on the floor. Have you tried tried a heating pad?..........xx
