Do you notice how all the guys voted for it and all the women voted against it?
Why is that?
As a guy, I wouldn't want to sleep with someone on a first date because I would like there to be an emotional connection.

Been there. Done that. Never had it lead to anything.
It's not for me b/c whether I mean to or not I ALWAYS get emotionally invested, even when it is not reciprocated. It leads me to rely on false emotions.
If you are the type of person who can detach emotion from sex than do your thing, but I think for the most part these types of people are in the minority.

I'd say it all depends on the circumstances. If I was only looking for a casual relationship and the sparks were flying, and especially if we were friends before we agreed to the date, yeah, I might go for it. If I was looking for a more serious relationship, no I wouldn't because I'd want the relationship to grow more before taking that step.
