I would and have dated a guy who was about 5ft. I'm 5'5. It doesn't bother me how tall or short he is as long as he is a nice person.

I'm only 4ft 8, so I will go out with a 5ft 3 guy. My ex is 5ft 8 and he said my body is perfect and very sexy, so shorter than average is not a big deal. Be confident, girls will be attracted by you if you are a nice guy.

Guy peeping in here........ It is pretty sad how many of these girls say that they would not date a guy shorter than them, most of the ones who say they would are already 5'3" or shorter, so if there was a guy shorter than them, I wonder if they would date him. It is nice that some actually care enough about personality. I am 5'3", and I could care less how silly people think it would look, It isn't silly, that is just a lie our society has made up.

I am 5'8'' and I would probably choose a taller guy over a shorter one, sorry. If I got to know a short guy really well and he had a great character and sense of humour I might have considered going out with him. My husband is 6'0'' and I like the way that he is that bit taller than me, it somehow sort of feels right to me. Sorry if that is not what you wanted to hear, but it is just my personal preference.

I prefer guys that are taller than me, but I would still consider going out with a shorter guy if I liked him enough. I'm 5', though, so most guys are taller than me anyway.

I'm only 5'2 and my current bf is only 5'7.
I think straight of yes many girls would discard shorter men, but personally height is not important to me, its all in the personality, and not to be cliche but eyes :D

It would depend on the guy. There's no reason to count out another human being for that silly reason. I'm 5'2

I'm also 5'3'' I usually like taller guys, but height is not the deciding factor. What good is a guy that's 6ft if he's a jerk?

i wud i get called lanky and when i started going out with my boyfriend 2 years ago he was shorter than me but now hes jus the same hight lol i dont think height matters.

I wouldnt b/c I am just naturally attracted to tall guys.. Im 5'8" and my boyfriend is 6'5"
