What happened to make you believe that God is real and Jesus is your savior?

You are not going to find any. There are plenty that claim they were atheists but real atheists are too smart to accept a bunch of BS without question.

Sunday school at age 6 "kept" me a total atheist. As the Christian indoctrination never took hold, and had the opposite effect.
I remain sane.

There are far more atheists who were formerly Christians.
The funny thing is, the only 'former atheists' I've heard of are people who are trying to make a living selling their religious books.

I was in big want of God. I felt that I needed to have that connection with Him what my Christians friends talked about.
It took time. I am happy now in the arms of Jesus.

I took an honest look at the evidence for the credibility of the Bible. I invested about 15 hours of listening to sermons, and God, through the preaching of His word, brought me to Him.
