My partner of 2 1/2years rang me last night and informed me that he doesn't love me and has realised that he is using me if he continues the relationship. I am really confussed. He has just turned 39, could he be having a mid-life crisis??
What would you do? Would you leave or stay to try and keep the relationship going??
Please help.

As difficult as it's gonna be you need to walk away from him.
Let him regret losing you.
He phoned you to tell you this? He could have at least said it to your face after being together for as long as you have.
The sooner u walk away ..the better...

it may be he is trying to recapture his lost youth --- and wants a younger girlfriend ---- if he does not want the relationship then forcing it will not help it will only create more pain --- accept that he is an idiot and find someone who does care and will care long term ---- best wishes
