I missed your previous posting, but I'd guess that if she was hit by a car, and not taken to the vet, she could be lying somewhere hurt, and not be able to get back. Have you looked all around the neighborhood.....under things, and in all kinds of "hidey-holes"? Injured cats will hide, and if she hasn't eaten, or had any water, for this length of time, I'd be out of my mind w/worry, if she were mine. Call the local shelter, and any local (nearby) vet, and see if someone has brought an injured cat in recently. Hopefully someone found her and took her for help. I wish you lots of good luck, finding your "baby".

If your brother was holding her, why in sam hill did he let her go and not take her into the house?!

You'd better get off your butt and start walking around and look for your cat. Look under bushes, in hidey-holes, etc. Put an ad in the paper, post ads in vet offices (someone could have found her and taken her to the vet - yes you will have to pay the bill), and look at the humane society or pound. Don't wait. If you can't be bothered to look, and someone took your cat there, often strays will be euthanized after 3 days. Sooner if they're running out of room. Better get going. Don't sit on you a** and "wait" for her to come to you - you'll have a long wait, especially if she's hurt and unable to walk or crawl. Yes, you'll have to make some effort (gasp), but if you care at all about your cat you would already be looking. Since she was in shock, she needed a VET! She's probably already passed away since she was hit by a car and didn't receive care. Just because you didn't see inside her with x-ray eyes doesn't mean she couldn't have received internal injuries. Go out and look for her.

Wait, your cat was hit by a car and you haven't found him yet? How do you know he was hit by a car if you haven't found him? You didn't provide a link to your last post, so I have no idea what's going on.

What I do know is that...and this is not to make you feel bad...cats tend to try to find dark, lonely places when they're extremely injured, sometimes to try to recuperate and sometimes to pass on. You need to go out and try to find your cat so you can have closure one way or the other.
