with health care, education, and social security benefits?! Is this where some of my taxes are going?
Please help me understand how this benefits our country. (US)

I'm a naturalized US citizen, LEGALLY, for nearly 28 years. I waited over 10 years to do this and so glad I did it! I'm just appalled at these illegals who don't bother going thru the process of becoming legal, no matter how long it takes!

I moved to the US from Britain in April, I did so LEGALLY after successfully going through all the required processes.
It was tough, but it was NOT unfair in the slightest. These processes are in place to ensure that undesirables are kept out.
As a LEGAL resident, I am entitled to NO free healthcare, NO social security, and I had to sit and pass my drivers' tests just the same as an American does.
So, why on Earth does an ILLEGAL get it easier than I do? Why should they be GIVEN drivers' licenses when the rest of us have to earn them?? It spits in the face of Americans AND those of us who are LEGAL residents.

In 1966 Americans stopped having babbies. Well, not completely, but the birth rate has long been below 'replacement' - our population would be shrinking were it not for immigration.
Illegal immigration is extra population growth on top of that. Population growth drives some economic growth, in agregate terms, which politicians like to use to show how much good they're doing. A rapidly growing population is also needed to keep ponzi schemes like Social Security solvent.
So, mostly it's just a matter of political expediency. Social Security is aproaching collapse. One way to head that off would be to add some 60 million new workers to the country, right away - there are already as many as 20 million illegals, they just need another 40 or so, and the problem is solved (until they retire, that is). That's just one example, there are myriad real problems that can be masked by just throwing exploitable population at them.

I don't think that it is the citizens (legal ones) that want to support illegals. It is the people in government who want the tax payers to support illegals. Eventually , if not already, illegals are going to be voting, which will benefit the politicians and big corps. $$$$$

Political correctness blown out of proportion and the advocacy groups which support them have become very "sue happy." Just recently a woman got caught at the local DMV furnishing licenses for illegal immigrants and drug dealers at 3,000usd a pop.Some of the advocacy groups who helped her get customers in the first place are taking up collections for her and are trying to stop her from getting deported.It has gotten so ridiculous.

we have a country of people who want to be served...
who is going to do the work to serve these people...
yes this is a problem....but the real problem is coming...
we don't have the work force to handle our needs...
if you haven't seen the results of this yet....you will....
less and less service...and higher prices...in an atempt to get americans to work for americans...
the american dream is to get educated...get a high paying job...and get rich any way possible...lying ,stealing ,cheating

this is only the beginning..
you can't just let the rich pull away (taking everything they greedily can), meanwhile the average joe workd his *** off for peanuts, while costs soar. Joe is going to get a better job...if he can....
But all of these jobs..."americans don't want to do"....
we have had a major problem finding qualified truck drivers to transport the goods..(we got russians driving trucks to help (does this make you safer as you drive on the highways))
wharehouse workers that can competantly fill an order, so the truck drivers can deliver the right order..(fustration, no respect, value of doing a good job...and why should they...so they can earn peanuts, compared to the ellite of the country)
resturant workers....the industry is having trouble....meaning the customer will get less service, and be expected to do more work for the meal..and the costs WILL GO UP
crops in the field, not being harvested...higher costs, waste.. business'd going bye-bye
ya we can ship food in from china, south america, mexico...god knows they all loves us and want to deliver a good product..
we have a problem
getting mad at the illegals....blaming them....is not going to solve it..
as this plays out....more and more small business's will go under...large corps (with all their tax, buying advantages ,subsidies)...will be your only choices...
If making money (being rich) is the only value.....you get what
you deserve...
just try and find someone to serve you....for cheap!
What is funny is...no one is really bitching...
they really think the workers..wil show up...magically... prices will be saved....and their christian life goes on....no problem
as for where your taxes are going
try the redicules war (how about a million dollar cruise missle, 16 million dollar jet fighters.....boy....that is some good money well spent...oh oops...he crashed.....)
we could redirect this money to the good of society (globally)
or the christian thing. to do.....kill

Bending over is no longer an option. Americans are finally voicing their opinions and we've gotten a fairly good response. So no more silent majority, stand up and scream deport all illegal aliens now! It doesn't benefit our nation only the pockets of a few. Will all of you be voting now? I hope so!!

Because of a since of humanity; a willingness to be generous; a strong connection between the working class in America and illegal aliens who come here and work their asses off. Just some reasons.
But my mom is from Greece and she can't stand illegal immigrations; she's no problem with them a people though. Guess if I had to stand in line I'd be pissed to see people cutting in front of me.

I have no clue how all these illegal criminal aliens are good for the country and why they are getting benefits that many legal citizens are unable to obtain.
They all need to be rounded up and deported.
