Nope- they are not racists- anyone can convert to Judaism. But no, Orthodox jews do notn marry non-Jews. But, there are plenty of Black jews that are born as Jews- such as many of the Jews rom Yemen and Morroco, the Ethiopian Jews, Jews from Kenya and Nigeria etc. Judaism is a religion open to anyone of any race. there are Chinese, Japeanese, Indian Jews- in fact there are Jews from every corner of the world and from every racial grouping around.

Hasidim tend to be narrow minded because many of them have very little secular education. There is nothing at all in their religion which is racist. As a matter of fact, there are black chasidim and many, many black Jews. As strictly observant Jews however, they would not accept a marriage to a non-Jew, of any color or faith... as such a union would not be considered a marriage at all. There are converts of course, and a convert is considered to be more meritorious than a born Jew, having accepted the commandments of the old Testament by choice, rather than by birth.... but, conversion is definitely not encouraged and a person interested in doing so is actively discouraged. To become a chasid, you must have a burning desire to do so.

Their communities are separatist, because part of their belief system is 24 hour observance of the commandments and traditions, most of which deal with daily, ordinary life and activities.... it is very hard to observe these when not surrounded by like minded people.

Jewish law, Torah law, says that if a child is born of a Jewish mother, the child is a Jew by birth. According to Torah law, the mother passes down being a Jew to her children. The father does not. The father passes down Tribal Lineage. The mother passes down being a Jew. So if a non-Jewish father marries a Jewish woman, their children will be Jews but will have no tribal affiliation because their father has none. But, if a Jewish father marries a non-Jewish woman, their children are not Jews according to Torah law. Therefore he cannot exactly pass down his tribal lineage, since they aren't Jewish children. So the kids have lost out on both counts there. There is no such thing as being "half Jewish". Either a person is a Jew because their mother was a Jew, or if their mother was not a Jew, then they are not a Jew. P.S. The Reform Jewish movement, which was created in the 1800s, has tried to change for themselves this Torah law. They have created their own law that says that a child is a Jew if they are raised in a household where Judaism is practiced. They did this because the intermarriage rate in Reform Judaism between Jewish males and non-Jewish females is up around 75-80% and they are basically breeding themselves right out of existence as Jews. However, changing God-given Torah law, for themselves, does not change that Torah law. It only means that they are not following true Judaism, or the Torah, and are doing as they want to, instead.

Do you even know what Hasidic Judaism is?

If you did, you wouldn't have asked such a silly question. There is nothing 'racist' about any branch of Judaism. The ultra religious of all faiths tend to mix more with each other, so why are you singling out the Hasidim? They don't hurt anyone and are extremely G-d fearing people.

Firstly, please ignore the blatantly untruthful response given by MAYA. She is lying. The word 'shiksa' does not mean what she says; it simply refers to a non Jewish girl, and it is not negative.

Now for your question: Hasidim are not in the least racist and I have no idea why you think they are. They are extremely religious Jews, who study the Torah and the Talmud and other Jewish texts. And in NONE of these texts does it say anything negative about people of other faiths.

Does that answer your question? I hope so.

What a strange question.
Was Waco, Texas a racist community?
How about Jim Jones and his community in Guiana? They all committed suicide.

All orthodox jews are blazing racists. Their word for non-jewish women is "shiksha" which means "dirty animal". Bear are mind there are 13 million jews,6 billion non-jews. So their conviction than the non-jewish population is filthy, unclean, lower form of life, less than animals, etc. is actually a reference to what is normally considered the human race - which they see themselves as apart from as god's chosen. And they like to keep apart, that's for sure. Question is,who's human and who isn't? They have no identification with the filthy unclean human race and it's shiksas.
