why r chicken fingers called that because they dotn have fingures so what part r we eating?

Some brands use chicken breast for chicken fingers. Other brands use sort of a chopped and formed fingers.

Why chicken fingers?

1. They are the size of fingers.
2. They are meant to be eaten with fingers by childrens.

Buffaloes don't have wings, but I love buffalo wings ;), they are called "fingers" because they are shaped like fingers.

Side note: Did you know that in some countries, the boiled feet of the chicken are considered a wonderful delicacy? Now that's gross!!

Chicken fingers are thin strips of chicken breast meat, coated in batter or bread crumbs, and fried. They're called fingers because they're long and thin - and also because they're finger food - you eat them with your hands.
