Here are my opinions and it depends on where you are going and facing and the terain an MP-7 in open land is a poor choice and a FN in the close quarters is a poor choice!

Tyler, without knowing your preferences it is hard to say what would be the "best Military gun" for you if that is what you are looking for. In general it depends on what feels good in your hands, what you can handle the best, and what works best for whatever military situation you are using it in. I recommend getting as many weapons in your hands and shooting the ones that feel good to determine which might be the best fit for you and your use.
I have shot almost all military type weapons made over the last century and my personal favorites are the MI Garand, MIA, M14 FN FAL, Galil, M-16A2, AK47, Remington 700 and for lead spewing in close an SKS with holographic sight. Keep in mind those are ones I like, that have fit my needs and I was comfortable with. Might be totally different for you.
One way to find out is check your local ranges and see which if any might rent military weapons for you to shoot or attend a range session where you can pay to shoot full auto or assault weapons. Lots of fun and will give you a feel for firing and handling many types.

Why is an p90 bad for CQC? its a submachine gun, albeit not particularily small. My opinions:
Sidearm: H&K MK23 or USP in .45 ACP, or 1911 in .45 ACP
Submachine gun:FN P90,MP5 variants,UZI
Machine pistol:Steyr TMP,MP5K
Assault Rifle:G36,XM8 if it was put into production,AK-74
Sniper Rifle:M14,M21
Long Range Sniper Rifle: Barrett variant
Shotgun:Mossberg 500,SPAS-12,H&K CAW
Grenade Launcher:Milkor MGL
I'm not very knowledgeable of Machine Guns, but the FN one they use currently in the US seems to work fine.

I don't know, I wasn't in the military. I like the M-1 Garand only because I've shot one before. So if I have to pick, I'd say the M1 Garand.

AK-47 vs M-16 round 567,837,902
Lets see; The AK-47 is very reliable but not as accurate as the M-16. The M-16 is very accurate but not as reliable as the Ak-47. The M-14 is both accurate and reliable but it and its ammo are heavy. Pick your priority.
As for me it would be a M-16A2 that I would be a fanatic about keeping clean.

Glock, pick a caliber of your choice because they make it. I prefer 9mm, it might be the European in me
