Entirely a matter of personal preference.
1Cr 7:18 Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised.

Circumcision was a covenant between God and the Jews during the old testament to distinguish them from the gentiles during that time. It is not something that is commanded today for Christians. In fact, at the first Jewish council, it was a debate on whether or not they should make the new gentile converts be circumcised and it was decided that they did not need to be. In fact it says that God wants those who are circumcised in their hearts, not their body. Circumcision is done to babies today I believe as a health measure and not a sign of anything spiritual.

Circumcision was a sign of a covenant with God, and was initiated in Genesis. Genesis may be called 'old testament' by most of mankind in this country presently; but scripturally,I believe the 'old testament' was the law of Moses: apply the '2 or more witnesses' principle (Matt. 18:16, 2 Cor. 13:1). witnesses Paul 2 Cor. 3:13-14, Jesus, Joshua, David, Solomon, Nehemiah, Malachi, etc.
Is it suggested for a christian presently? Yes
Will a person absolutely 'go to he!!' for not having it at death? No.

No. Physical circumcision is not required, but the circumcision of the heart (behavior) is.

In the Old Testament, it said for all who follow God to be circumcised.
In the New Testament we are circumcised in our hearts by accepting Jesus Christ.

Circumcision was a covenant to the Jews. Our covenant is in His blood.

That was just an outward sign of an inward reality... It was replaced by Baptism...
BTW, circumsion involves the foreskin of the penis, not anything to do with your "family jewels"...

I beleive its just a religious thing for Jewish people, however, many parents of infant boys opt to have it done for medical or asthetic reasons too.
