I have been dating this guy for about 6 months. I think that its going really well. We really get along and have never had a disagreement. We have never really talked about our relationship. I was on the phone with him and he says " I've been thinking about our relationship alot more lately and realized that we have never really talked about it. We really have a lot of things that we need to talk about sometime." I am really nervous. From a mans point of view, do you think that this could be a good thing or a bad thing?

Since it's been six months, I think it would be a good thing. I don't know either of your personalities, but if he wants to talk about it you should. It really weighs on us sometimes when there's something we want to say and when you're open and willing to talk it helps. It feels so much better to get whatever it is we have to say out there and not have it bottled up inside. So if you guys are really going really well you should be able to talk and get out what you want to say. It's also good to be on the same page and know what the other is thinking instead of saying "I think she wants this or that" or "I bet she thinks this too". Basically if it's a good relationship, you should should be able to talk and you should talk.

Depends on how you look at it. Women tend to over analyze every date, every word, every kiss. Guys just roll with the dates and the relationship. Then one day they wake up and realize, "Hey, I've been dating this girl for over 6 mos now. Wow! And she is great! and we've been having a great time. I wonder how she feels about me. You know, I should ask her." If he feels things are NOT working out, he usually just stops calling.

It sounds good to me. If he's thinking about it a lot more then he probably wants to have a DTR -- defining the relationship talk. See where things are going, if there's a future there.

If he just wanted to be friends and break up, I bet he'd just talk about other girls or slowly get more distant.

Good luck!

To me, it sounds like a good thing. He may want to take things further like be more connected to each other.
