Oh yeah...

I even got as far as to lingering at the edge of a cliff... or just one quick swerve to hit that other car on the intestate...

I used to be so sad, all the time. Cry before I went to sleep.

If you are getting these thoughts and dont know why you should really talk to someone... It might be depression and there is NOTHING wrong with that. It does not mean you are a bad person, just sick. The only difference is is that you can't see it.

I urge you to talk to someone. I know what its like...

Hi again Naila,

We all feel like this some of the time when things go wrong in life. Especially after a difficult break up or the death of a loved one.
But when you're occupied you won't be all that gloomy. You'd be down in the dumps whenever you find yourself lonely.
These reactions are normal.

But if you seem to be crying daily without engaging yourself in any other activity which usually interests you for more than a period of 2 weeks........It might be "depression" & you need to seek medical help.

Have your family members noticed anything different in you? Or do you still have the capability of pretending to be ok in front of them?
Usually in severe depression, people simply neglect them to a point where others around them would also notice the drastic change.

So, you need to decide whether you actually need help or are you strong enough to get over it on your own or maybe with the aid of friends & family?

Take care.

There have been times in the past that I have thought like this. When I started to just live for the moment or the day that I was in then things seemed to get much better. Your probably at a turning point in your life and this is why you feel so down. Perhaps you are taking on the problems of others.
There is an old Indian saying that goes like this.
"I am and old man, I have had many Worries most of which happened"

I don't really think about it. It wouldn't make a difference if my life was considered worthless and if no one cared about me because I can still continue to enjoy the little things in life like laying in my super comfortable bed with all my cats around me or drinking red wine and eating chocolate cake or dancing to some silly disco song that comes on the radio. I figure that I'm here on earth regardless if I know the reason why I'm here, I'll just try to enjoy myself as much as possible until I'm gone.

I think us humans get our bad days. Were we just want to stay in bed. Its like a balance thing.

But sometimes, the issue can become worse, were it feels like its everyday. Which is one of the symptoms of depression.
If this is continuous, try and focus on things you like to do and are good at. There are people that care about you, so much. It may not seem like that at the time, but seriously there is someone that does care.

If your concerned about it, try and book an appointment with your psychologist, councillor or simply talk to someone you trust.

I have at one time. But I was lucky and realized that I had a problem and went to my dr. sat in the waiting room for about 2 hrs until he could see me and he stayed after hours to help me.
Its called depression and it can really have a hold on some people. The key part is to realize it and get help.
Please call your dr tomorrow. If you feel that you are a danger to yourself, go to an ER now.
Good luck and stay safe.

People feel like that . I used to feel that way but I grew out of it. I care about you and other people do too. There are people in the world who need you and you are the only you .You are a great treasure to God and he loves you and has a wonderful purpose for your life and he has good things for your future.

No. life is what you make of it. It's totally neutral. I believe that every day is a banquet and what I take from it might taste good or bad but it just is what it is.

You are a good, strong, wonderful, beautiful person and you are more important than you think. Just look in the mirror once and say "I love you." to yourself.

Yes, However I am finding unique ways to deal with my difficulties and listening to a counselor does not really help. For how do you except them to help you when your entire life is sitting in front of them and they can't tell you anything about their own life. To me they avoid their life and discuss yours. You must find good friends such as online or off the web.

Yes I do EVERYDAY! i am so sorry that you feel that way
because I know how it feels I wish I had a magic wand and I'd wave it over you but i don't
Have you talked to your doctor I got on prozac and it helped
so much that I don't cry anymore when I wake up But as for the rest I still am just waiting to die
It might help you though so please tell your doctor! Please?
