As a runner you should eat light about 30 minutes to an hour before. Eat some carbs like a plain pancake, some toast, or a bagel to give your body some enery while running. Eating a big meal or something like a half a pizza would increase your chances of throwing-up while running.

Depends on what you ate and the speed you're going at. I could personally throw up after an 800 meters race because I have to go so fast, but be perfectly fine at a cross country meet, which is 5000 meters, and not throw up at all. I feel like I'm going to die, though.

I've never thrown up, although once I felt kind of sick after I ran so I'm not really sure how long one would have to run to throw up. that's a good question

Depends on what you've eaten, how fast you run, how long since you've eaten, how good of shape you're in. It's not the same for anyone.
