My daughter wants a playground for Christmas. She wants the cheap metal kind that retails for $150. If I took the pieces out of the box, would they be able to fit in the back seat, or will some pieces be too long?

How can I measure something I haven't bought yet? Are you dense?

you either will need a wagon or a sedan thats seats fold down. They have the long bar that is along the top of the swingset. See if you can either get it delivered or borrow a car if needed. Allow a few hours to put it together. They are a real bugger. I am having an assebly frre year this Christmas. The tramp was hard. The basketball system hard, swing set.....urg and the foozeball table ended in tears. I need a year off LOL

You would have to measure the longest piece and measure the largest spot in your car. What kind of car do you have? You should be able to read the box. Usually they have measurements for the pieces written on the box. I'm not dense, I'm just obviously more savvy about my purchases.

If it's a regular sized car (like a 4 door sedan) i don't think it would fit. When my dad got us a swing set, he had to use his old Chevy truck to haul it home.

"How can I measure something I haven't bought yet? Are you dense?" Obviously you lack a bit of common sense...You take a tape measure to the store where you want to make your purchase, you ask a sales associate to help you measure the longest piece of the equipment. It's not rocket science, but I guess to someone who is intellectually challnged it might be. As for will it fit in your car? Your state really blew it when they issued you a driver's license that's for sure.

You could probably have it tied to the hood, or tied into the trunk. If its a full size the box will probably fit in the back, a sedan you might be stuck tying it.

But yeah, theyre designed to fit into boxes that the general public can take home.

Personally, I think you should have the store tell you the dimensions of the box call them up and ask them to measure it for you. This will give you a better idea of if it will fit or not.
