my mouth hurts sooooooooooo bad!!! i got one of those thing that expand your bite in my mouth and OH MY GOSH it hurts!!! one of my teeth like i felt it pop and IT FREAKING HURTS!!!! is there anything i can do to make it not hurt as bad?

you mean the one that goes on the roof on your mouth if u do i have some answers..........................................ok so after you expand it it hurts i know but a cold drink and tynol try also laying down and try swishing your mouth with cold water i hoped i helped thos things stink hope i helped biiii

You felt it pop. That's the worst it's going to get. The expander has split your palate--the roof cartilege of your upper mouth. Now all it will do is stay in place and hold it there until the cartilege in the roof of your mouth heals over. No more pressure or pain. It'll stay just like it is.

In the meantime, eat some ice cream and hold it up to the roof of your mouth. Take 2 ibuprofen every 6 hours. Drink something with crushed ice and hold it in your mouth so that the roof of your mouth gets a little less inflamed and painful.

A lot of us had to pay that price to get a lovely smile. It will be worth it when you look at your graduation pictures. And your wedding pictures--you'll have a 100watt smile.

Well put some ice there or take some numbing stuff that you can buy at local stores. Try not to eat anything hard for a while. That could real bad. goog luck and i hope you feel o.k.! i am sorry bout that :DDD

Try some Ibuprofen (200-400 mg). It will help with the pain until you get used to it.

try sucking on ice or something cold like that
