My friend & I went out to lunch & a guy came over to talk to her while we we were eating. My friend's boyfriend saw them chatting & he got mad & said he was cheating, but she wasn't. & he talks to other girls so why can't she talk to other guys without being accused of cheating? Do you think my friend's boyfriend was going overboard?

No, I don't consider that cheating because if he can chat with other girls and its okay but she cant talk with other guys then thats not right. But as long as she wasn't flirting and it was innocent its totally fine and he just went way overboard..................

No it is not cheating. I think that I would be looking into the relationship of the couples for something is no right for one of them to accuse the other of cheating when nothing was done wrong. Did this girls guy break up with her? If he did then I would likely say that the boy was making an excuse to end the relationship for he was the one cheating.

That's not cheating, and he is going overboard. He should only be upset if after he sees her talking to guys the next time he sees them getting it on. Then it's not overboard.

Uh yeah, just a little bit.
If she's not allowed to make conversation with other guys then how is she supposed to work, go to school, or even live a normal life?! Could it be he has security issues?
Did she do anything in the past that may hinder trust levels?
Tell your friend to talk to him about it and have him make suggestions.
It's also different on what kind of "talking" we're dealing with. Was it obvious flirting, or just conversation?

Yea I do think he went overboard becuz if she cant talk to other guys then he shouldnt be talkin to other girls thats just the way i fell about it

woahhh nelly. guys can get reallyyy a big reaction off something they're doing themselves. guys can get extremely jealous without even noticing-- don't worry, your friend didnt cheat. TALKING isn't cheating. HUGGING isn't cheating. KISSING on the cheek, isn't cheating, but anything past that... is.
