okay. firstly i'm a sophomore (high school) and i'm starting to like this guy i've known for two years (he's a senior in high school) the thing is i CAN'T like him, he's obnoxious, arrogant, all that stuff
but i can't help but think about him!! ugh but he's such a sweet jerk! for example, when i told him i was going to fail my math test, he told me to meet him before homeroom started so he could just go over things with me! he actually offered to help me! BUT I CAN'T LIKE HIM. he's a senior! and he's completely not my type! but i love talking to him (he's so intelligent ahhh) this whole obsession if you want to call it started 2 days ago! literally out of NOWHERE. he's in my AP class (which he teased me about, since i'm the only sophomore..) and i saw him one day and was like hm he's kinda cute..so anyways. what should i do?? i don't want to tell my friends..i have difficulty expressing who i like in case no one else agrees...

I know how you feel. I liked a guy on the wrestling team, but like you, I thought he probably wasn't cool enough for my friends. Turns out, my best girlfriend ended up marrying him.
In your case I suggest you follow your heart. Being friends is the best launch pad for a relationship. Friendship can warm into love.
Be sure you haven't got that problem a lot of women go through. I've seen it time and time again. They get attracted to guys that project a "bad boy" image. With these guys you are best off to believe it when you see it. When they project the bad image, they are making the statement that they don't want to be responsible in a relationship.
If you think you are going to marry some day, friendship holds two people together when times are tough. Sounds like you are already attracted and seem to like this guy. Check out the obnoxious part and make sure he doesn't embarrass you.
You can't have friendship or love or anything without respect.

At 13 hormones are raging like loopy He could be perplexed. And he probable purely feels mushy around you. I mean merely whilst he's over ask him if he's gay or likes men. enable him be responsive to that if he's that's ok :) solid success!

well i guess you dont have to worry with stuffs like that first your just a sophomore and there are a lot of things that could still happen, and about you liking this guy i guess there is nothing wrong about liking him just stick to "you like him "dont go beyond that ok? because liking one person is normal so you dont have to worry about it.

well if you dont do or say anything about it, its going to drive you nuts. Keep asking yourself why you really like him, do a pro and con list. Dont worryabout what your friends say, its your life not theirs. If you keep thinking about him, then there is attraction. Just talk to him, see what he says and take it from there

You like him. If you like him, he IS your type. Ask him out, or flirt. I know you said your shy, but you need to get over it. Somehow, make the message clear to him "YOU LIKE HIM!" follow your heart. if you like him, you like him, you cant like him and not want to like him. Thats totally weird. again, if you like him, he's your type. Ask him out whatever.

see if he is interested in you first..kinda flirt with him so more.
