I know Amazon is a bad place to buy a bike but, I have to buy a non-used bike under 350 maybe 450. The reason why the price range is soo low is because most of the money will be coming out of my parents and I dont like using their money and the reason why I dont want a used one is because I can never trust buying a used bike online for some reason, probably because i think the frame will have a small crack somewhere. THANKS

The first bike I was interested in was the GMC YUKON XL which was at 260, but then people told me it sucked so I went searching again and this caught my eye http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_d/002-7329044-7726430?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=road+bicycles&x=11&y=26 which was $450 and wayy out of my normal price range. It would be great if somoene can find a bike that is as good as that bike but cheaper.

woops i meant the iron horse one. I am pretty interested in the one you pointed out because of the price and i noticed some of the components soo which one is better for the price. I noticed that the forge is made out of aluminum and the iron horse is made out of carbon, is it a big difference?

I think the Forge CTS 1000 on the link you supplied is far better than the bikes you were looking at before. And at $339 it's in your price range.

Edit: The Iron Horse is a good entry level bike too. But, I'm confused. You're looking at $200+, then $300+ now $400+. Heck, if ya keep on going up you'll have a top of the line model!

The Iron Horse is the better bike, but you need to think about assembling and servicing the bike as well.

You should NEVER buy a bike online unless you know exactly what you are looking for and you know how to assemble and service it.

No insult intended, but it doesn't sound like you fit in the "know what you are looking for" category.

Think about a Diamondback Interval... a nice entry level road bike in your price range, and available at a bike shop.

It's to hot and humid for me to ride in the amazon. The roads are crap too.
