Yes!! Most dry dog food and can food is crap. dogs NEED meats, not grains. I give my dog whole eggs all the time and he eats shell and all. Shells are a very good source of calcium. If your looking into feeding your dog meat I would check out rawdogranch.com it has a lot of info about raw feeding. My dog loves his chicken, and has pretty white teeth and very healthy gums. He's a very healthy dog.

As for spaghetti, I would say no. Some people feed rice, but it needs to be way over cooked so dogs can absorb the nutrients. They can't break down veggies or grains as well. Blend veggies so they can get veggies to. In the wild they would eat the stomach contents of their pray so they would get a little bit of veggies and possibly grain, already broken down.

Good luck!

Add: Have you ever heard of a wolf getting into a chicken coop and found dead because he ate the eggs? or at the chicken? They don't cook their food and they don't leave the shell to the side either. They eat it all because their bodies are designed for that.

As a professional dog trainer for over 16 years, I have to tell you my strong opinion that you need these group classes for obedience training. http://OnlineDogTraining.enle.info/?5631

Other pet warehouses are there to get you to buy their products and hang around their strore. And their trainers are their employees...never forget they have an agenda. Most of the trainers have very little education--if they had actual training and skills they wouldn't be there making just over minimum wage--trust me on this. But even if they did have experience and talent...a group setting is a terrible place for learning to take place. It's distraction training and it is the LAST phase of training not the first. You wouldn't have your child try to do their homework in a toy store, would you? Of course not...the level of distraction would be too high! It's the same with dogs. Having said that, these classes can be an excellent way to socialize dogs...but not to train them. And while they appear to be cheaper than a professional trainer...you have to attend many more sessions to get the same results because of the poor learning environment--so you wind up spending MORE money for less training than you would with a professional. Save your money and go to someone who actually knows how to train dogs. OR, read books and try to train your dog yourself. There is nothing they train at a Petsmart or Petco that you can't do yourself with a couple of hours of reading.

ground up dried egg shell is an excellent source of calcium and is used by raw feeders. do not give your dog pasta, it is high in carbs.

add- it depends on what food you re feeding. if you are using a high quality food such as california natural, wellness, innova, canidae, solid gold, merrick, or wysong just to name a few, then your dog will be getting good nutrtion. foods from the grocery store are poor quality and contain a lot of fillers such as corn, wheat, and beet pulp. some people prefer to feed a raw diet, i choose to feed california natural to my big dog, wellness duck and venison and natureal balance vegetarian to my boy pap (he has ibd and food allergies) and home cooked meals for my girl pap (she has severe ibd and food allergies).

you can feed your dog small amounts of "people" food such as lean meats (no seasoning) and fresh fruits and veggies (no raisens, grapes, peppers, garlic, or chocolate- these are all toxic). do some research on raw feeding if you think you might like to go that route. there are companies that make prepackaged frozen raw diets for dogs.

Yes you can. Your dog will not be harmed in anyway if you do. :)
Its actually healthier and safer than whatever they put into commercial pet foods.

DO NOT feed your dog egg shells!!!! This will make blood in his stool because they will get stuck in his insides. Raw eggs are fine they will help with a healthy coat but no shells. Pasta will be fine but he might get the poops. Puppies have very sensitive stomachs even changing dog food will result in the shits. I have a Stafford shire myself he is 1.5yr old. The best way to keep your pup healthy is stick to the dog food. No table scraps this will help with him being obedient as well when you are eating

well dogs should not even be eating human food since it shortens their life span. but no dont give him egg even wen he is an adult. pasta is fine but egg can hurt a dog. even tho they eat it doesnt mean it is good for them. dogs eat almost everything and b/c that is the case that is y they get sick so often.
